PROGRAMS & EVENTS

Extracurricular Programs

These before and after school programs provide our students with a well-rounded elementary school experience. There’s something for everyone…from chess to art to fitness. Please contact VP of Programs, Patti Wang at patriciawang@verizon.net if you have any questions. Check our Winter 2012 Programs and Events here!

Chess Club: Whether your child is a beginner or a more advanced player, our Chess Club offers an opportunity to improve their skills and learn to love the game. Check our most current Chess Club Form.

Creative Adventures: Get ready for some fun in art! Drawing, painting, crafts, and much, much more! This art workshop—limited to 25 students per session—offers wonderful opportunities for children to use their imaginations.

Keyboarding: Students learn to type using "Type to Learn" software. This is the same software students use in the BFES computer lab. Fall, winter, and spring classes—taught by Coach Doug—are offered to help our 2nd through 5th graders learn to type. The "Type to Learn" software is also offered for home use at a discounted price.

Mad Science: Mad Science of Washington provides our children with a terrific opportunity to explore everyday science in exciting 8-week programs after school. Sessions are offered every fall, winter, and spring. Check our current session by clicking here.
